Starting at $1,500The person behind the planning
I grew up in Ahmedabad, India, in a close-knit Hindu family where heritage and tradition were woven into everyday life — every festival, every gathering, every ritual carried a meaning that quietly shaped how I see celebration itself.
With extended family already settled in the United States, I followed my passion for design and moved to Ames, Iowa, to pursue a Master's in Architecture at Iowa State University — a small town with a completely different culture, climate, and pace of life than anything I'd grown up with. I still call those two years my own little social experiment.
That chapter led me to New Haven, Connecticut — self-proclaimed apizza capital of the world — where I spent years designing high-rise towers, corporate headquarter campuses, and luxury mixed-use developments around the globe.
Based in Southern California. Willing to travel.
How We Make Memories began
Somewhere in the middle of all that travel and design work, I was dating — then long-distance, cross-country dating — my now-wife, Manali. In 2025, I proposed.
What followed was an ambitious five-month plan for a four-day wedding celebration. We made the decision to plan it entirely ourselves, without hiring a wedding planner. Between my background in design and project management, and a deep respect for the complexity of every ritual, it felt less like a task and more like a passion project — one we wanted to make completely personal.
Looking back, we couldn't have done it any better. It became a small, intimate wedding in Orange County, California, filled with everything that mattered most to us.
How it works
Planning a multi-day, multi-tradition wedding should feel exciting, not overwhelming. Here's how we work together from first hello to the very last dance.
A complimentary consultation to understand your family's traditions, the rituals that matter most, and the personal story you want this celebration to tell.
We build a visual direction together — color stories, decor, and a design language that respects tradition while reflecting your personal and fusion style.
Multiple functions, vendors, priests, and timelines — managed with precision, cultural care, and the warmth of someone who genuinely understands what each ritual means.
On the day, you are fully present. We handle everything else, so you can simply live inside your most meaningful moment.
